“From Museum to Home - Art, Technology and Business
Converge”
LookClickPrint, Inc., an industry leader in the specialized
field of archival museum image reproduction, continues
to expand its business partnerships in Europe and the
United States.
The U.S. based company has created new revenue opportunities
for museums by producing and marketing custom-made reproductions
of their images directly to patrons and businesses worldwide.
Using state-of-the-art scanning and digital printing
technology, LCP produces archival-quality prints on both
paper and canvas in a variety of sizes. Customers select
and purchase prints through museum stores and websites,
associated retailers, and the LookClickPrint website.
Each print is made to order at the LCP printing facility
and shipped directly to the customer.
European additions to the LCP database include new collections
of images from The British Museum and British Library.
The British Museum, in celebration of its 250th anniversary,
is presenting “London 1753”, an exhibition
of city life in the 18th century. To honor this historic
event, LookClickPrint is offering images selected by
the museum from the exhibition. Two brilliant drawings
by Canaletto in 1750 highlight this collection.
In association with the British Library, the national
library of the United Kingdom and one of the world’s
great repositories of knowledge, LookClickPrint has assembled
a dazzling collection of flora and fauna images, Audubon
prints, and antique maps.
In the United States, a distinguished group of museums
are presenting a diverse selection of images through
LookClickPrint.
From The Harvard University Art Museums, one of the leading
art institutions in the United States, superb examples
of work by Degas, Gauguin, Homer, Hopper, Monet, and
Renoir are being offered.
The Denver Art Museum, with the most comprehensive art
collection between Kansas City and the West Coast, has
established a collection with LCP. Among the many
outstanding images is the celebrated painting by William-Adolphe
Bouguereau, "Childhood Idyll."
Astonishingly detailed, delicately colored botanical
prints from the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix are
now in the LCP database. Many works date from the 18th
Century, and include images by artists such as Ehret
and Albrecht .
In California, the Monterey Museum of Art is presenting
an extensive exhibition of work by Armin Hansen, the
gifted California impressionist.
To complement this exhibition, LookClickPrint has added
a number of paintings from the show to the museum’s
current on-line collection.
These and other museum collections are available at www.lookclickprint.com.
